Privacy overview

WaveTrace Mobile support data should stay narrow and relevant.

This page summarizes the support and testing data WaveTrace Mobile may use while helping testers diagnose app behavior, device permissions, and desktop bridge setup.

Data used for support

Support requests may include your email address, app build number, device model, OS version, permission state, desktop console URL, screenshots you choose to send, and the error text needed to reproduce the issue.

Signal and scan details

For diagnostics, support may ask which source class was tested, such as Bluetooth, supported Wi-Fi or network context, NFC, UWB, or adapter hardware. Do not send raw MAC addresses, private payloads, precise location, or unrelated personal data unless support explicitly requests a narrow diagnostic sample.

Local-first testing

The companion desktop console stores local fingerprints and summaries by default. Support can help you reset local testing data, check bridge setup, or verify whether a mobile observation reached the desktop API.

Safety boundary

WaveTrace Mobile is for authorized device inventory, site surveys, lab testing, and personal environments. Support will not assist with jamming, spoofing, forced pairing, credential cloning, packet injection, or attempts to bypass platform privacy controls.
